Thank you for your interest in the WVU Abdominal imaging fellowship. Fellows will gain competency in Radiography, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, as well as CT and US guided non-vascular procedures in a rapidly growing, state of the art academic environment. We offer a single fellowship position each year, allowing for a personalized, tailored experience with dedicated teaching and training.

Our program is based in Morgantown , WV at WVU’s flagship Ruby Memorial Hospital- an 880 bed academic center that serves as the state’s only level one trauma center and houses the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer center, the institutes largest and most comprehensive cancer care facility. This environment provides high volume, high-acuity training that encompasses all aspects of abdominal and pelvic imaging including trauma, oncology, bariatrics, hepatobiliary, gynecology and urology among others. We participate in multiple tumor boards and pride ourselves on our excellent relationships with our colleagues in surgery and medicine.

Fellows will participate in teaching activities and conferences, tumor boards and section conferences. The fellow may choose to participate in research activities.

Upon completion of this fellowship, graduates can be expected to have a strong foundation for a future in academics or general private practice. We are a cohesive section with a strong emphasis on our role as consultants and teammates and expect your time with us to be enjoyable and educationally rewarding.
