Professional Programs

A WVU School of Medicine education prepares you for a challenging career in medicine, research and academia. Guided by our mission of transforming lives and eliminating health disparities, the WVU School of Medicine remains at the service of West Virginia and its people.

Our Programs

  • Audiology (AuD)

    Learn to diagnose and treat a wide range of vestibular and hearing disorders while gaining experience in several clinical rotations in medical and educational settings.

  • Occupational Therapy (OTD)

    In response to a rapidly changing environment within occupational therapy and health care, WVU has initiated the Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) Program to complement its 2+3 MOT Program.

  • Physical Therapy (DPT)

    Study the diagnosis and management of movement disorders and gain experience in clinical rotations in West Virginia, surrounding states and our own Faculty Practice clinic.
