Mongold awarded Preceptor of the Year from Alderson Broaddus University
BUCKHANNON, W.VA. – Jessica Mongold, F.N.P.-C.,WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital Pediatric Medicine Clinic, was awarded the Thomas Chang, M.D., Preceptor of the Year Award from Alderson Broaddus University for the Physician Assistant Studies Program 2022 class.
During the final year of the 27-month graduate program, students complete 11, four-week rotations, including emergency medicine, surgery, family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, behavioral health, women’s health, orthopaedics, and an elective of their choice.
Mongold provided students in the Physician Assistant program valuable experience with patients and families in the clinic and was recognized for going above and beyond to enhance each student’s learning.
