This is your first step to becoming a fellow in the Bariatric Fellowship Program accredited by the Fellowship Council.

Our program participates in the Fellowship Council Match. Applications will be accepted through the Fellowship Council (FC). A completed application must be submitted via FC https://www.fellowshipcouncil.org/applicants-for-fellowship/ on December 2, 2024, to be considered for an interview.

A completed application must include:

FC Application Form
Medical School Transcript
Board Scores
Personal Statement
Letters of Recommendation (minimum of 3 letters)

There will be one available position.

2025-2026 Application Process Timeline:

Monday, December 1, 2025: Fellowship Council Application Process Opens at 5:00pm Pacific
Tuesday, January 20, 2026: Fellowship Application Closes
Wednesday, January 14, 2026: Deadline for Letters of Recommendations
Wednesday, January 21, 2026: Program Directors Gain Access to Fellow Applications
Monday, February 23, 2026: Universal Interview Offer Day
Friday, March 27, 2026: Deadline to notify Applicants of their interview status
Thursday, May 7, 2026: Rank Order List (ROL) Opens
Wednesday, May 13, 2026: Deadline for Quota Change
Monday, May 18, 2026: Deadline for PROGRAM DIRECTORS to submit and certify Rank Order List (ROL)
Monday, June 1, 2026: Deadline for APPLICANTS to submit and certify Rank Order List (ROL)
Monday, June 22, 2026: Scramble Date
Tuesday, June 23, 2026: Announcement of Fellowship Matches
Sunday, August 1, 2027: Fellowships Begin
