Welcome!

This is your first step to becoming a fellow in the Bariatric Fellowship Program accredited by the Fellowship Council.

Our program participates in the Fellowship Council Match. Applications will be accepted through the Fellowship Council (FC). A completed application must be submitted via FC https://www.fellowshipcouncil.org/applicants-for-fellowship/ on December 2, 2024, to be considered for an interview.

A completed application must include:

FC Application Form
Medical School Transcript
Board Scores
Personal Statement
Letters of Recommendation (minimum of 3 letters)

There will be one available position.

2024-2025 Application Process Timeline:

December 2, 2024: Application process opens
January 17, 2025: Deadline for Letters of Recommendation
January 21, 2025: Fellowship Applications Closes January 22, 2025: Program Directors Gain Access to Applicants Information
February 24, 2025: UNIVERSAL INTERVIEW OFFER DAY February 28, 2025: Deadline to offer interviews to Applicants
May 1, 2025: Matching Process Site and Rank Order Lists Open
May 7, 2025: Deadline for Quota Change
May 16, 2025: Program Rank Order List Certification Deadline
June 2, 2025: Applicant Rank Order List Certification Deadline
June 23, 2025: Scramble Date
June 24, 2025: Announcement of Fellowship Matching Result
August 1, 2026: Fellowship Start Date
