Data on the CAATE Program Information and Outcomes page includes data from both the BSAT program (which graduated the last cohort in 2023) as well as the MSAT program. The following data outlines the educational outcomes for the MSAT program only.

Retention rates of students entering the Master of Science in Athletic Training program in 2021-22, 2022-23, and 2023-24, plus the 3-year aggregate. 67% of 6 students enrolled returned each subsequent year in 2021-22; 75% of 8 students enrolled returned each subsequent year in 2022-23; and 100% of 12 students enrolled returned in 2023-24. The 3-year aggregate is that 85% of 26 students returned each subsequent year. In 2022-23 1 student dropped out for non-academic reasons. In 2021-22, 2 students dropped out for academic reasons and in 2022-23, 1 student dropped out for academic reasons.

Employment and placement rates of students entering the Master of Science in Athletic Training program in 2021-22, 2022-23, and 2023-24, plus the 3-year aggregate. From the 2021-22 cohort, 4 students graduated and all 4 are employed as an athletic trainer. From the 2022-23 cohort, 6 students graduated and all 6 are employed as an athletic trainer. From the 2023-24 cohort, 12 students graduated and all 12 are employed as an athletic trainer. This results in a 3-year aggregate overall graduate employment/placement percentage of 100%, with all employed in the field of athletic training.

BOC pass rates of students entering the Master of Science in Athletic Training program in 2021-22, 2022-23, and 2023-24, plus the 3-year aggregate. From the 2021-22 cohort, 67% of 6 students entering graduated. All 4 graduates took the BOC examination and 100% passed on the first attempt. From the 2022-23 cohort, 75% of 8 students entering graduated. All 6 graduates took the BOC examination and 100% passed on the first attempt. From the 2023-24 cohort, 100% of 12 students entering graduated. All 12 students took the BOC examination and 10 (83%) passed on the first attempt. All 12 (100%) passed regardless of number of attempts. This results in a 3-year aggregate overall BOC percentage breakdown of 100% of graduates have taken the BOC examination, 91% of graduates have passed on the first attempt, and 100% have passed regardless of number of attempts.
