Application and Interview
The WVU Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship follows ACGME eligibility criteria for admission, accepts applications through ERAS or through the application provided below, and participates in NRMP and the Match.
Many fellows enter the program after 3 years of psychiatry residency for a fast track that combines 12 months of requirements for both fellowship and residency. Alternate pathways are possible, with the requirement that at least 2 years of psychiatry residency be completed prior to entering fellowship. Those currently in a residency program must be in good standing.
Applicants will need to be eligible to obtain a West Virginia license or training permit, and be eligible to be physically present for training (i.e. US Citizenship, J-1 Visa, Green Card).
Please contact Holly Alvarez for assistance in the application process.
Information about all WVU programs is available on the Graduate Medical Education website.
