Fellows are also encouraged to attend the monthly meeting of the Program Evaluation Committee, which enables voice in program growth as well as learning opportunities with respect to academic medicine.

Fellows facilitate a monthly child and adolescent case conference for residents with faculty support, as both didactic and teaching opportunity. Fellows have additional regular teaching opportunities with medical students, general psychiatry residents and learners in other fields.

Fellows have a yearly scholarship retreat with associated lectures. Fellows are welcome to attend the yearly core program scholarship weekend retreat held in a beautiful location in the WV mountains.
