Also, the Division is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion within the CSD professions through inclusive practices in the undergraduate and graduate programs. Examples include the recruitment and retention of students from diverse and under-represented backgrounds as well as holistic graduate admissions. In alignment with the Council of Academic Accreditation for Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA), we stand committed to decreasing biases by decentering our curricula and utilizing patient-centered clinical practices, which will guide students, faculty, and staff to examine and value perspectives different from their own.
