Education and Conferences

Doctor teaching fellow during lecture

  • Didactic conferences are held weekly on Tuesdays from 1pm -3pm
  • Journal Club is held once a month
  • WVCTSI Fellows Research Academy is held twice monthly
  • Clinical Case Conferences are held once a month
  • Board Review Conference is once a month
  • Division Teaching Sessions are held once a month
  • Internal Medicine Grand Rounds is held every Friday 8am-9am

All fellows will be encouraged to attend one professional conference per year which can include the Annual Assembly of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Educational stipend provided to all fellows for educational travel/conferences and educational resources.
