Lectures

The Department has a comprehensive teaching conference schedule. Residents, faculty, clinical personnel and any other interested learner can attend conferences each Wednesday morning beginning at 6:15 AM. Topics include review of the American Urological Association Core Curriculum as well as lectures given by Urology Faculty as well as guest lectures from other Departments including, but not limited to:  General Surgery, Interventional Radiology, Infectious Disease, Nephrology as well as Pediatric Subspecialties.  Urology Residents also provide lectures on topics encompassing all aspects of urology.  Mortality and Morbidity Conference, Journal Club and OSCE-like oral examinations are also provided throughout the academic year.  A complete schedule of topics is provided monthly. All conference attendees are encouraged to actively participate and present materials during the conference. The teaching conferences are CME accredited.
