Post Residency

We encourage our residents to pursue fellowship training. Since inception of the residency training program, approximately 50% of our graduates have pursued fellowship opportunities. To maximize our resident’s chances of attaining a fellowship, we formulate a plan of action for each resident which will include finding a faculty mentor, conducting research projects, and presentations at regional and national meetings.  Residents in past years have completed fellowship training in outstanding institutions such as:

• Roswell Park Institute
• University of Mississippi Medical Center
• City of Hope Medical Center
• Children’s’ Hospital of San Diego
• University of South Florida Moffitt Cancer Center
• University of Pittsburgh
