Morgantown was named “No. 1 Small City in America” by BizJournals.com for its exceptional quality of life. With a population of 30,855, it was also rated the ninth best college town in America by Business Insider. While on an average day Morgantown is the third largest town in West Virginia, on game days, Mountaineer Field becomes the largest city in West Virginia able to hold 65,000 people.
