Room Reservations
Health Sciences Center room use is limited to Medical and Health education, training, and community government and community non-profit groups.
- Reservations can be requested no more than 3 months in advance of the anticipated date.
- Reservations for ongoing, multiple-week programs or classes, or a specific evening for multiple months (i.e. 3rd Monday of the month) will not be accepted.
- Fridays are reserved for medical education, and not available for public use.
- Specific weeks are not open for reservations, specifically orientation, and examination weeks for medical students. (Jan., Jun/July/December and Examination Weeks)
- Facility use requests will be confirmed on the calendar after staff approval and fee payment. Fees must be paid at least a week prior to event. All reservations will be confirmed via email.
- WVU reserves the right to cancel any reservation as necessary. A WVU scheduled program will take precedence over a non-WVU event.
- Meetings or rallies of a political nature are not permitted.
- Tech support is not available on nights and weekends. Please make arrangements with the appropriate staff to explore the system at a time prior to your scheduled event.
- All groups are responsible for providing their own meeting materials (i.e. copies, flip chart paper, markers/pens) for their event.
- Please include set-up and clean-up time within your reservation time frame.
Facilities are not available on following dates:
- Dec. 7-18, 2015 - Examinations
- Jan. 4-8, 2016 - Orientation
- Jun. 6-17, 2016- Examinations
- Jun. 27-July 8, 2016 (2 weeks) - Orientation
- December 5-16, 2016- Examinations
- Jan. 3-6, 2017 - Orientation
- All Fridays between 8am-5pm
Mountaineer Room
$50 a Session (0-4 hours)
- Complimentary AV system usage
- Food/beverages permitted
- Maximum capacity: 60
Multi-Media Classroom
$50 a Session (0-4 hours)
- Complimentary AV system usage
- Food/beverages permitted
- Maximum capacity: 36 (may fit 50 with limited tabletop space)
Auditorium
$100 a Session (0-4 hours)
- Complimentary AV system usage
- No food/beverages permitted in Auditorium (allowed in Lobby area only)
- Maximum capacity: 189
