Admissions Requirements
Admission is competitive to School of Medicine Health Professions graduate and professional programs; meeting minimum requirements is not a guarantee of admission. An overview of admission processes for each program is provided below, with detailed information linked in each section.
In addition to other stated requirements, prospective international students may be required to submit English proficiency scores (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL). Specific score requirements can be found on each program website (if applicable).
Athletic Training (MS)
Prospective students who wish to pursue Athletic Training may apply for the program via ATCAS. Detailed information on the admission process and requirements is available online. Well-qualified first-time freshman applicants to the WVU Exercise Physiology program may enroll in the Accelerated Bachelor's to Master's (ABM), which provides an accelerated pathway from undergraduate study into the MSAT.
Audiology (AuD)
Prospective students who wish to pursue Audiology may apply for the program via CSDCAS. Detailed information on the admission process and requirements is available online. Well-qualified first-time freshman applicants to WVU may enroll in the Early Assurance Program, which waives selected application requirements and provides an integrated pathway from undergraduate study into the AuD.
Exercise Physiology (MS)

Medical Laboratory Science (MS)
Prospective students who wish to pursue Medical Laboratory Science may apply for the program via the WVU graduate application. Detailed information on the admission process and requirements is available online.
Occupational Therapy (MOT)
Prospective students who wish to pursue a Masters in Occupational Therapy may apply for the program via OTCAS. Detailed information on the admission process and requirements is available online. Once admitted prior to the junior year, students will complete three additional years and graduate with both a Bachelor's in Human Performance & Health and the Masters of Occupational Therapy.
Occupational Therapy (OTD)
Prospective students who wish to pursue a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy may apply for the program via OTCAS. Detailed information on the admission process and requirements is available online. Pathologists' Assistant (MHS)

Pathophysiology, Rehabilitation, and Performance (PhD)
