“I was looking for a place with great training and a place small and safe enough to raise a family. Morgantown and WVU check both of those boxes. The faculty is young and dedicated towards fellow education, the training is great, and they keep you motivated to learn and improve.”

Why WVU: I was looking for a place with great training and a place small and safe enough to raise a family. Morgantown and WVU check both of those boxes. The faculty is young and dedicated towards fellow education. The training is great. They keep you motivated to learn and improve upon your knowledge.  Co fellows are supportive. The atmosphere is that of a family. The proximity to big places, like D.C and Pittsburgh is an added plus. And the nature and serenity of the place is a boon in disguise. For people with kids, WVU has an affiliated day care as well.

Research interest: Sepsis, Septic shock and utility of PCR in diagnosing respiratory pathogens sooner.

Future career plan: Undecided currently.

Hobbies/Interest: Home décor, hiking, exploring nature and spoiling my family.

Favorite thing about Morgantown: Nature and topography.

One work to describe the fellowship: Motivating.
