What is an entry-level Master's OT program?

The WVU MOT program is a 2+3 program. This means that students complete 2 years of undergraduate curriculum to fulfill the MOT prerequisite courses.  Once students are enrolled in the MOT program, they will take 2.5 years or eight semesters of OT focused coursework. Students who apply to the program who already have an undergraduate degree will still complete the 2.5 years of OT education. The first five semesters of the MOT program are considered undergraduate, and students will graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Human Performance and Health. At the end of the 8th semester, students will receive a Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) degree.
