HSC CELEBRATES WVU’s 150th Birthday this week. Join the Party!
CONGRATULATIONS to the winners in the Eastern Division Research and Poster Symposium:
First Place, MSIII Sara Chowdhury, Class of 2018; Second Place, MSIII Morgan Johnson, Class of 2018; and Honorable Mention, Joe Malone, Class of 2017. There were 34 posters submitted for the event. The winners were announced at the conclusion of the Poster session, on Saturday afternoon.

2ND ROUND APPLICATIONS RURAL SCHOLAR PROGRAM: The WVU Department of Family Medicine is pleased to announce that we are now accepting a 2nd round of applications for the Rural Scholars Program. This program is designed for students committed to making rural/small town Family Medicine in West Virginia a career. Qualified MS III’s are eligible for a $10,000 stipend for their fourth year and facilitated admission to WVU’s Morgantown Family Medicine Residency. The Rural Scholars Program allows for an enhanced primary care experience in the 4th year curriculum as well as early integration into the residency experience. Deadline for application is May 1, 2017 with notification date of May 30, 2017. Please contact Holly Maroon at maroonh@wvuhealthcare.com if you would like information on how to apply.

IMPORTANT STUDENT NOTICE FOR PARKING AT BERKELEY MEDICAL CENTER: Students may not park in the hospital parking lot. Parking citations are being issued for student parking in patient spots. Students may park in the Health Science Center lot and also Dorothy McCormack building away from the building.
