ALL STUDENTS – The COMMITTEE ON ACADEMIC STANDARDS (CAPS) will meet in full session December 15 (M1, M4 & Dual Degree review) and January 4 (M2 & M3 review) to review 2016-2017 academic progress to-date. Any actions taken will be posted to your E*Value CAPS Documentation folder no later than 48 business hours following the review.

WV MEDICAL STUDENT CONFERENCE: It's time for the annual West Virginia Medical Student Conference brought to you by the Medical Student Section of the West Virginia American Medical Association (WVAMA) and West Virginia State Medical Association (WVSMA). You are invited to attend the 7th Annual West Virginia Medical Student Conference set to take place in Charleston, WV on February 17-19. Accommodations will be provided at the Charleston Marriott Town Center in Charleston with activities to take place at Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center of WVU-Charleston. STEP 1 APPLICATION PICTURE FORM: As you complete the NBME Step 1 application, print the required picture form and submit it to Student Services for school seal & mailing – completed, signed, with an attached picture (print name on the back of the picture before attaching). Deadline March 15.

PEDS GRAND ROUNDS is broadcast from Morgantown every Wednesday 8-9 am. The first Wednesday is at the board room on the 8th floor of BMC. The rest of the Wednesday is at the ED conference room in ED of BMC. If you are on a Pediatrics Week, please plan to attend.
