GOLD HUMANISM WEEK!  February 15-19.  Along with a daily noon lecture series with lunch provided
for the first 50 people, we will be packaging Gifts of Gold from donations from the Class of 2016 as care
packages for the homeless of Morgantown.  All are welcome for this community service project Monday, February 15th at 6pm in the Student Lounge.  Flyer with details forthcoming.  Hope to see you there!  Questions? Katie Seachrist.

WELLNESS EVENT – MORGANTOWN – ALL STUDENTS INVITED:  Winter blues got you feeling down? 
Need a little pick me up?  Come join your classmates for a night of ice skating, hot cocoa, and desserts!
Come to the Morgantown BOPARC Ice Arena anytime from 7-9pm on Saturday, February 13th to skate
with the med school. Warm up with some hot cocoa and enjoy some desserts while you take a break
from skating. Family and significant others are welcome to join, just put down the number of guests and if they're kids or adults!  We'll cover admission, so the only thing you need to worry about is skate rentals ($3 rentals - bring your own and it's free).  Please sign up by Monday, February 8th so I can get a count for desserts!  Google Form for sign up: http://goo.gl/forms/tUu8E7iFDi

WELLNESS EVENT – CHARLESTON – ALL STUDENTS INVITED:  Student Services in Charleston will be
sponsoring an Uncork and Create event on Friday March 4, from 6:30 to 8:30PM.  Information on Uncork and Create art events can be found at http://www.uncorkandcreate.com/  Seating is limited, so act early if you wish to participate.  Tickets are $5.00 each and can be picked up in Student Services.  Ticket purchase deadline is February 19, 2016.  You must pay and pick up your tickets BEFORE FEBRUARY 19, 2016. an hour of community service!

1st Annual WVU Ultrafest! April 2, 2016 - Registration now open, no ultrasound experience required,
$10 per person, click here to register, please register by March 15, 2016. Check-in and breakfast begin
at 7:30 AM in the pylons lobby, the day will conclude with a friendly ultrasound competition around 5:00 PM (Participation in the competition part of the event is optional but strongly encouraged, find a team of 3!  Prizes will be awarded to the top two teams!) Registration gets you access to a full day of hands on ultrasound learning, breakfast, lunch, and a WVU Ultrafest t-shirt! Direct any questions to

THE ARNOLD P. GOLD FOUNDATION ESSAY CONTEST:  Winning essays receive a cash award and the

Harriet Tubman Visiting Professor Lecture, WVU Department of Surgery, is scheduled for Wednesday,

WRITERS AND EDITORS: in-Training (in-training.org<http://in-training.org/>), the online magazine for
medical students through Albany Medical college, is looking for medical students of all class years to submit articles and essays about their experiences in medicine for peer-edited online publication.

the scores, even though you had previously “authorized” the scores.
