SPECIAL COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITY: Saturday, June 4. The Sports Medicine Center and the WVU Heart Institute will be sponsoring free sports physicals with EKGs; 300 physicals last year! Primary care, orthopedic surgery, and cardiology faculty will be on hand to conduct portions of the physicals - a good opportunity to work with faculty and residents of those departments. COMMUNITY BABY SHOWER - Sat. May 21, 10-1:00pm, Jefferson Medical Center, for expectant and new parents. Student Volunteers needed. Contact- Arlene Fernandez, 304-728-1207.
COMMUNITY SERVICE: Sports Physicals- Students needed. Dr. Cicchino is coordinating the community sports physicals for local High School athletes. The physicals will be on Tu. Jun 7, Wed. Jun. 8 and Thu. Jun 9, from 5:00-6:30-6:30-8:00pm at the Dorothy McCormack Center. There are up to 200 students per night. This is a great way to practice doing physicals.
