STUDENT SERVICES ALL CAMPUSES will be closed for the Memorial Day Holiday Monday, May 30th

ALL STUDENTS enrolling for Summer/Fall/Spring 2016-2017 are required to have updated PPDs loaded in their CastleBranch (formerly Certified) health record accounts no later than June 1, 2016.

UPDATE TO PROCESS if you need a VERIFICATION OF DEGREE LETTER:  The University Registrar has suggested a quicker response (approx. 3 days) method to request letters of degree during this posting transition period:  1) Request a transcript through the Registrar online process; 2) Respond YES to “do you have an attachment”.  This then goes straight to the Registrar and a letter will be generated.   This request takes 3-5 days to complete instead of 2-3 weeks. 

MS3 Class of 2017 

UPLOADING YOUR PPD through CastleBranch will be done as an uploaded document to your document manager on which you loaded all previous paper health records.  Deadline June 1.

What’s Happening – Charleston 

MANNA MEAL:  Saturday, May 28, 11:30 until 1:00 PM, St. John's Episcopal Church 1105 Quarrier Street. Bring stethoscopes, blood pressure cuffs, and any other diagnostic tools that you'd like. Also, everyone is welcome to bring a box of cereal, a jar of peanut butter, crackers, or any fresh or packaged food items you may have. Remember to complete modules and report completion.   Questions?  Patrick Suggs.   psuggs@mix.wvu.edu.

What’s Happening – Eastern

COMMUNITY SERVICE:  Sports Physicals- Students needed.  Dr. Cicchino is coordinating the community sports physicals for local High School athletes.   The physicals will be on Tu. Jun 7, Wed. Jun. 8 and Thu. Jun 9, from 5:00-6:30-6:30-8:00pm at the Dorothy McCormack Center.  There are up to 200 students per night.  This is a great way to practice doing physicals.  Please email horstj@wvumedicine.org  if you can help.

 MEMORIAL DAY:  Please check with your preceptor.  If you are on a hospital rotation you will be working.  If you are rotating in a private practice and your office is closed on Monday for the holiday.  You will have a study day.
