WELCOME TO MOTW, CLASS OF 2020! All the information posted here every Tuesday in your weekly Message of the Week is valuable. Pay particular attention to these initial Community News/Happenings notices, and your Class of 2020 info below in the Morgantown Campus section.
APPROACHING DEADLINE = JULY 27! ALL STUDENTS - FALL TUITION payment/aid AND insurance waiver completion (Click here to access).
IMPORTANT FINANCIAL AID PROCESSING UPDATE: If you have filed a FAFSA, you should have received an award notification from the financial aid office. Keep in mind that we are currently only processing financial aid for the fall and spring semesters. Those students that have filed a FAFSA will receive an additional financial aid award notification for summer later this year. That notification will be sent out sometime during the spring semester. If you have any questions, contact the financial aid office at 304-293-3706 or at hscfinaid@mail.wvu.edu.
ALL STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS: If you were unable to attend today’s meeting re: the STUDENT ORGANIZATION FAIR, here is your next chance…Tuesday, 7/26/2016 at 12:00 in room 1905. You may bring your lunch if you like. Lunch will NOT be provided. We will be working on the logistics for the Student Organizational Fair on 8/4/2016. So please bring your “A” game and your IDEAS!

What’s Happening – Eastern
ALL STUDENTS are expected to attend the Eastern Panhandle Medical Society meeting on Wed. Aug. 10tt and the Martinsburg Holiday Inn. The meet and greet begins at 6:00pm. The Eastern Class of 2018 will be introduced to the Medical Society.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for Saturday, Aug. 27th for the MSI Eastern Campus Tour. Guides are needed to lead hospital tours at Berkeley medical Center, and join the visiting students for lunch. Community Service hours available.

Surgical Morbidity and Mortality- (M & M) Student presenters for the following dates- Aug. 12, Sept. 9th Oct. 14, and Nov. 11. 7:30am, 8th Floor Classroom, BMC. Cushing Students will select a date and volunteer to present. Dr. Turner will assign your presentation topic. All Students, mandatory attendance at Surgical M & M.

OB/GYN Journal Club- Mon. Aug. 15, and Oct. 17, 7:30am Classroom, on Monday. Jacques students will be assigned to present by Dr. Merzouk. Only Jacques students attend OB/Journal Club.
PEDS GRAND ROUNDS is broadcast from Morgantown every Wednesday 8-9 am. The first Wednesday is at the board room on the 8th floor of BMC. The rest of the Wednesday is at the ED conference room in ED of BMC. If you are on a Pediatrics Week, please plan to attend.
