FAMILY MEDICINE RURAL SCHOLARS PROGRAM: The WVU Department of Family Medicine is pleased to announce that the applications for its innovative Rural Scholars Program are now available. This program is designed for students committed to making rural/small town Family Medicine in West Virginia a career. Qualified MS III’s are eligible for a $10,000 stipend for their fourth year and facilitated admission to WVU’s Morgantown Family Medicine Residency. The Rural Scholars Program allows for an enhanced primary care experience in the 4th year curriculum as well as early integration into the residency experience. Deadline for application is January 15, 2017. Please contact Holly Maroon at maroonh@wvumedicine.org if you would like information on how to apply.

PEDS GRAND ROUNDS is broadcast from Morgantown every Wednesday 8-9 am. The first Wednesday is at the board room on the 8th floor of BMC. The rest of the Wednesday is at the ED conference room in ED of BMC. If you are on a Pediatrics Week, please plan to attend.
