NEEDED…….Volunteers to work at the SOM Alumni Weekend on Friday, September 30th at Lakeview Resort. Time range would be from 3-8 pm.  You can count this towards service hours.  Please email Gina at gslaugenhoup@hsc.wvu.edu if interested.

ALL STUDENTS – FLU SHOT REQUIREMENT:  School of Medicine policy requires all MD students to have season flu vaccines.  You’re CastleBranch (aka Certified) account will be available to receive this verification beginning October 1stThe deadline is December 1st.  Failure to complete this requirement WILL prohibit you from patient contact.

SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY: Volunteers needed to help with a speech therapy gross anatomy lab being coordinated by Dr. Klinkhachorn for undergrad students in the Dept. of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD).  The structure of the lab will be based on stations highlighting the anatomy of the head, neck, and torso. You will earn community service hours for your time, and Dr. Klinkhachorn can advise you as to the amount of time you can count for this lab experience. The current proposed date for this lab is MONDAY, November 14 from 1:30-2:30pm. Interested?  Kimberly Meigh.
